Who We Are

Helping Hands Auxiliary is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to bringing joy, comfort, and care to the residents of the Pioneer Home for the Aged in Thunder Bay. Through meaningful programs, thoughtful gifts, and strong community connections, we support seniors in feeling valued and remembered. Our mission is simple: to uplift lives, one smile at a time.

My mother made Pioneer Ridge her home for 3 years enjoying all the special events and initiatives funded by the Auxiliary. I joined the Auxiliary to say thank you and to help continue with the fund raising efforts to improve the quality of life for all Residents.
